Non-Suicidal Recklessness

On Psych Central, Erica Loberg writes,
"People ask me if I’ve ever been suicidal.  And I laugh cause Bipolar II individuals, for the most part, are too arrogant to even consider the idea.
But, when I take a good look at my life.  At the life I walk in, run through, live in, sometimes I act suicidal.  Like I am untouchable, yet self destructive, ruthless, reckless.  It’s the unconscious that plays itself out in your daily life.  And you have to wonder, where in my mind does arrogance meet recklessness, that may result in bad.
There is a fine line between being suicidal and being self destructive. To me, both rest together to some degree."

To me there is NO fine line between being suicidal and being self destructive.  To me, both rest together.  PERIOD.
