Retirement and Friends

Yesterday I talked with the administrator of my retirement account and he said, "If you retire in 13 years..." I have no idea what he said after that because I was laughing so hard!

In other news, I stopped by one of the shelters I lived in to help serve dinner. It was nice to see familiar faces and friends. When I went back to work in February I would get up early and help get things ready for the day ahead and serve breakfast. Sadly, I had to stop going there because of two people who had taken a shine to me and I wound up being stalked. Thankfully, both were taken care of via the proper channels and I can start visiting again.

I saw one of my friends, who is a WWII Veteran, and he recently celebrated his 90th birthday. Besides not looking 90 years of age, he still has all of his faculties and health and is quite a charmer.

Sadly, a married couple that are also friends are divorcing. Apparently, not to long ago, hubby spent 21 days in jail and that experience turned him into a huge jerk and he started mistreating his wife.
