Music & Drizzle

In this universe I have found there are few things that have the ability to soothe or feed my soul. Music is something that works more often than not - and definitely more often than anything else - especially a piano. Fortunately, there is a baby grand piano in the main area of the hospital that, at lunch, I can sit near and enjoy. Any person who is so inclined to, can sit down and play for as little - or as long - as they would like.

Over the past year I have seen people of all ages, from all walks of life, some incredibly talented musicians and some not-so-much! In any case the music sets a more calm tone for people who are hustling and bustling by winding their way into the labyrinth that is a hospital.
Thankfully today at lunch, there was an elderly woman perched atop the bench swaying back and forth as her hands flew from one key to the next. The melodies floating through the air felt like warm sunshine, even though the weather on the other side of the floor to ceiling window behind her looked anything but.
