Summarizing

~ Hunter spent exactly 18 months hospitalized and returned home to me at the end of July 2011.  Although there have been several hiccups here and there with his behavior, for the most part, he is managing pretty well. I, for the most part, am too.

~ In August of this year I will become a grandma for the very first time.  Matthew and his girlfriend, Monica, are expecting their first baby then and I am honestly thrilled for them!

~ I am now working only one full-time job at the same multi-physician practice that hired me after I completed my student internship there, and I have been with them for more than three years.

~ In January 2011 I passed the National Ski Patrol's on-hill test on my snowboard - I passed the OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) portion of it in August 2010 - and the incredible sense of accomplishment I feel is amazing!  I was finally able to purchase that coveted red NSP parka myself last month and damn does it look awesome on me!

~ The used Ford Taurus I was driving after the lease ended on my Jeep died in October and I replaced it with a used minivan.

~ I have cut my parents and my siblings completely out of my life. It became a matter of my own survival so the toxic people had to go.

~ On the flip side of that - I have nobody to list on forms that request who to contact in case of emergency.  It would be sad if it weren't so fucking, well, sad.

~ After deciding right before his move to New York that he wanted to work on our marriage, Henry's actions, - especially the lack thereof! - the past 8 months have contradicted that decision in a multitude of ways.
